I guess I've been away for a long time !!!
I have been making dolls and quilting . Mostly making dolls. I'm loving the paper clay doll making so much .
I recently was published in Art Doll Quarterly for a Story book Challenge . My story was from a second grade reader " little mouse Dances "  my doll is reading her book and in her imagination the mouse comes to life . The story is about a mouse that wants to dance day and night but she her grandmother comes to see her and her house is a dusty mess. eventually the mouse dusts her house during the day and dances her night away .

Dolls body was a pattern in Patti's Medaris Cluea's book"Creative Cloth Doll " . there was no Pattern for dress , cloak and crown . The beaded sea horse was my first beading craft .
